When someone does good and no one sees it, it can be discouraging as well as demoralising. But do we do good for people to see and appreciate? Sometimes as humans we do. But to be frank, we shouldn’t. So we don’t become daunted when the “thank you” fails to come and stop doing good altogether.

Think about how ignored the sun is even when everyone wakes up to its rays, and yet the sun rises with smiles every morning.

I believe that virtue doesn’t go completely unnoticed. It’s there in the eyes of the sky and in the mind of those touched and one day one will remember for it.

The bottom line is do good to derive the joy it brings, not to get popularity.
