Wise Saying

Despite the beauty of the sun, moon and stars, the sky also has a threatening thunder and a striking lightening.
African Proverb
A chicken with a beautiful plumage does not sit in a corner.
African Proverb.
A fight between grasshoppers is a joy to the crow
You do not teach the paths of the forest to an old gorilla.
African Proverb
If the cockroach wants to rule over the chicken, it must have the fox as it’s a body-guard.
African Proverb.

Dear Reader,

Thanks for reading this far.

Do you have any related proverb from your country or continent?

Have more fun by sharing.

Thank you.💖

Which of the proverbs did you enjoy reading most?

I’m really touched by the second proverb.

A fight between grasshoppers is a joy to the crow.

Crows eat grasshoppers and you can imagine how easily they would feed on them as they fight and forget themselves.

When people of the same family fight, they expose themselves to the enemies – danger and destruction.

That’s all for today’s proverbs, see you next Saturday when I’ll be sharing wise sayings from other countries. Do not miss it.

  1. I love this “If the cockroach wants to rule over the chicken, it must have the fox as it’s a body-guard.” 😂😂. Love the African proverbs. I love your recent post too. But I couldn’t comment. Seems you blocked the comment. Thanks for featuring my new year plan’s post. ❤️❤️
