  1. Really good stuff this. So informative and helpful. The part of editing in the process of writing resonates with me a whole lot. It’s one bad writing habit I need to fight and overcome. I’m too much of a perfectionist to look away from mistakes and all and it impedes the flow/speed of my writing a lot. Meanwhile, the minute I discover the writing is becoming a herculean task, I ‘walk away’ from it immediately. I take a breather…think about or do other things… In the process, the motivation to write on comes back and I even get fresh ideas to make it better.
